Description
SOFT BASE GC RELINE II SOFT COMFORT is an advanced A-silicone denture relining material designed to provide long-lasting cushioning and improved adaptation for removable dentures. Developed to address clinical situations such as sharp or bony alveolar ridges, undercuts, or tissue changes after extractions or implant placement, this soft liner helps dentists adapt dentures to changing oral conditions while maintaining patient comfort.
The material forms a resilient, elastic layer between the denture base and the mucosal tissues. SOFT BASE GC RELINE II SOFT COMFORT distributes pressure more evenly across the denture-bearing area, helping reduce irritation and discomfort caused by hard acrylic bases. With a Shore A hardness of approximately 48, the liner acts like a protective cushion, allowing patients to continue eating, speaking, and smiling comfortably even while tissues are healing.
This silicone-based material is supplied in a convenient cartridge delivery system that simplifies clinical application. Its ideal viscosity allows the liner to flow under gentle pressure, accurately adapting to detailed anatomical structures and ensuring precise coverage of the denture surface. Improved trimming characteristics make finishing the margins easier and help clinicians achieve a smooth, comfortable fit.
SOFT BASE GC RELINE II SOFT COMFORT also offers excellent dimensional stability and maintains its elasticity for weeks or even months. During the setting process, the material does not generate significant heat, which improves patient comfort during the procedure. Once cured, the liner remains smooth and odourless while maintaining reliable performance.
When used with GC RELINE II Primer, the material achieves strong adhesion to denture base resins while remaining flexible. Additional material can be applied within three months to adapt to changes in mucosa or bone structure, making it a practical and durable solution for denture relining.
