Designed with a round-end barrel shape and long HP shank configuration, this bur delivers controlled material removal, efficient cutting, and consistent surface refinement across a wide range of dental materials.

As part of the EDENTA tungsten carbide cutter system, the second two numbers in the bur reference define the specific cut and intended purpose. For example, Cut 10 is developed for coarse abrasion on chrome-cobalt alloys, precious metal alloys, chrome-nickel alloys, model cast alloys, and acrylics. Cut 20 provides universal application across dental materials, enabling surface smoothing and accurate structural finishing. For exceptionally fine cutting surfaces on alloys—particularly titanium—Cut 24 features a specialised blade design that reduces clogging.

Other configurations include Cut 25 for tough materials such as titanium and non-precious alloys, Cut 30 for fine finishing of gold alloys, resins, composites, and ceramics, and Cut 53 for trimming denture base acrylics with smooth, snag-free handling.
