BUILD TRAY VAT for ASIGA Printer – Low Force is a specialised resin tray designed to optimise printing performance when working with softer, elastomeric, and flexible materials. Developed to support advanced material chemistries within the Asiga Open Material Library, this tray provides an efficient and reliable platform for producing delicate and detailed 3D printed components.

With access to more than 500 materials from 33 leading manufacturers in the Asiga Open Material Library, the Low Force Build Tray has been engineered to accommodate new resin formulations that require reduced separation forces during printing. This design helps improve print success rates for flexible and low-hardness materials while protecting fine structures and thin wall sections from distortion or damage.

The BUILD TRAY VAT Low Force is particularly suitable for applications requiring high precision and delicate geometry. In dental workflows, it supports the production of flexible splints, soft gingiva models, indirect bonding trays (IBT), and partial frameworks. It is also widely used in jewellery manufacturing for intricate geometries, in audiology for earshells and earmould shells for silicone casting, and in industrial applications involving elastomeric materials. Additionally, the tray performs well for microfluidic components and miniature models where accuracy and surface quality are critical.

With a 1-litre capacity, the tray is compatible with Asiga MAX and MAX X 3D printers. For printing rigid or hard materials, Asiga recommends the use of the standard MAX Build Tray.
